He has continued his loyal service under the present leadership of Bishop Robert J. Ward, Jurisdictional Prelate of Eastern Missouri First Jurisdiction, who reappointed him in 1984. In 1994, he received the appointment as Administrative Assistant & Director of Finance in the National Music Department (COGIC) under the leadership of Evangelist LuVonia Whittley, National President. Madison to the high office of Vice President to continue his service within the International Music Department. Elder Madison has labored untiringly for years in the gospel music arena both locally and nationally. He gave considerable attention to the late Dr. Mattie Moss Clark who was the National President of the Music Department, International, for 25 years. He served in many capacities under her administration. Elder Madison devoted a great amount of energy and time to the ministry of music during her reign as “Queen of Gospel Music”. This was a period of nurturing and training that is deeply instilled into the soul, spirit and body of Elder Madison.
Elder Madison is a much sought after and nationally known Gospel speaker, teacher, and preacher. Eld. Madison is known as one of the hardest workingmen in the field of ‘Gospel Ministering’ today. Eld. Madison walks it, talks it, preaches it, believes it and also lives it. His wealth of experience, hard work, and commitment to excellence has resulted in a Godly lifestyle that will stand the test of time.
Elder Madison fulfills the Biblical pronouncement that “your gift will make room for you and bring you before great men.” Standing at the pinnacle of achievement, he remains humble, reserved and somewhat embarrassed by the attention being showered on him. Yet, he must remain ready and willing to receive the blessings of the Lord, thereby enabling the givers to sow seeds for their future harvest. Ironically, his harvest is another's sown seed and that seed sown on his behalf becomes the others harvest.
Elder Madison has received numerous awards and honors during his life span.
